George has presented continuing education classes to home inspectors and realtors, is a certified member of the American Society of home inspectors and served as a board member and president of the greater Baltimore chapter. He served on the board and is past president of the Baltimore real estate investors Association and is an active real estate investor and experienced property manager. Industry standards do not require the roof to be walked and many inspectors observe the roof from a ladder or from the ground with binoculars.

I believe the best way to inspect the roof is by being on the roof, the crawlspace from inside the crawlspace and the attic from inside the attic.
